I am proud to serve as the principal of Montclair since March, 2004. I have worked in Prince William County Schools since 1986 and have been an administrator since 1991- as an administrative coordinator in professional development, as assistant principal at West Gate and Triangle Elementary schools and as principal at Old Bridge Elementary on 2000-2004 before coming to Montclair. It was an honor in 2009 to be nominated as the Washington Post Distinguished Principal by the Montclair staff.
All of our learning community knows that it is not "how smart we are" but, "how we are smart" (8smarts, that is). We use our Quality Lifelong Guidelines and Lifeskills each day and are proud to give our Personal Best. We welcome visitors to learn about our school and our students and staff are proud to "strut their stuff!" Personally, my family lives in the Montclair community with our son, Scott, who is a student at Osbourn Park High School. Our son, Kevin, is a student at Randolph-Macon College. Baseball is a BIG part of our lives since both of our boys play! My husband and I are quite proud of our sons! It is my pleasure every day to watch our teachers teach and our students learn. Our parents are such a supportive asset to Montclair's learning community. Thank you for visiting our website :) | |
